Most of you here have probably been using BB10 for a while now. Based on...

    1. Timed delivery of email
    2. Proper deletion of email
    3. Calendar use and management
    4. Contact use and management
    5. And other factors that I may have missed

...which would you say was better, GMail use or Outlook.com use on your BB10 device?

    Go; and thanks in advanced

I hear you with the 2GB difference. But, what else about it makes Outlook.com 'better'? Thanks

Plus Outlook/MS allows for "real" Word and Excel web clients that can edit actual Word/Excel documents synced/stored using skydrive.

    Never needed any other service
It also allows you free 5 company email based on gmail push service
Like you can make [email protected]
All you have to do is pay for the web adress which merely 10 usd per year
If you want to use free then gmail it is
And best part is it works flawlessly with any mobile os
    Be it ios android BlackBerry

    Its my experience and opinion

I should also add that Outlook/Hotmail let's you do remote search for non-downloaded "older" mail.

I tried the two, and my final choice is gmail.
I don't really use it for a hard professional use, so my advice could be opposed to some other.
I think that the calendar management and contacts are better on Gmail. On outlook (on computer) you can't really set your meeting with special settings. I found more flexibility in the Gmail calendar.
I also prefer contact management on gmail... personnal advice.
I don't say outlook is bad because I used it for a long time, but I think gmail is more flexible and you could do really what you want with.

    My 2 cents.

Except that it's no longer true because you have to pay for Google Apps now. If you already have it, great! If you don't already have it, it's now $5/user/month or $50/user/year. Something that Outlook.com still does for free for up to 50 users. - http://www.labnol.org/internet/setup...-domain/24699/

Aside from that though, honestly I don't find much difference between the offerings of Google and Outlook.com. However, I use Google for the simple the fact that I trust them with my data more than Microsoft.

A believe, and you can (and will) correct me if I'm wrong. But Outlook.com uses ActiveSync, where as Gmail has phased that out on all new accounts and you'd be using IMAP.

I prefer ActiveSync, so I switched to Outlook.com a while ago and haven't missed Gmail at all.

I have both. I got a Outlook/Hotmail first, Gmail second.

I use Gmail for my real mail, Hotmail for my junk mail (it's what I use to sign up for things). Why? Because Hotmail SUCKED compared to Gmail. It was utterly horrible in comparison. But that was a while ago. Hotmail made a bunch of changes since that point to the point where it's not bad anymore.

It just took too long to get to that point for me. I've gotten too used to Gmail so there's no point for me to switch to my Hotmail as my main email. Gmail works just fine so why go through the hassle of swapping?

The other issues are: I IM most frequently through Google Hangouts now and that's built into Gmail. Also I use a lot of Google services and I love that so many people work hard to integrate Google connectivity to their things. (For example, it was a breeze to hook my Google Calendar/Contacts to webOS, Android, iOS devices, and to my Z10). I'm pretty sure you can do the same with Microsoft accounts though.

You're very wrong in Gmail. Gmail offers more than 5GB of storage in Gmail for years now, if you have an older account.

Proper and clear deletion of email ~ including SPAM!! YOU JUST DONT GET AS MUCH AND TO BE QUIT HONEST, OUTLOOK prevails in a smarter detector of spam. Sorry about the caps just too late and lazy to change it back.

Filters and rules that really work, including I'd you move folders around.

    Real folders not just tags!

Flags - works as it should!!

Notes is also supported on BB10 and Outlook.com

    I have both.
Outlook looks more professional if you invite someone via calendar.(the signature: send by google calendar or send by microsoft) In my opinion microsoft looks much better.

Text editor- google apps vs word/excell online. Here wins outlook(word, excell online). It looks similar to the desktop version of word/excell!!

Calendar opinion2- outlook, the little weather icon- so much win!!!
If you have office 365 (E1) you can use BlackBerry Device Manager for free.(in future BB Cloud- got this info directly from BlackBerry UK)

    Sync- both are good!
