    You need at least one physical Tim card. It has a 16 digit Tim card # and an 8 digit PIN # (need to scratch off the coating which hides it)

    I believe you have to buy the first one, then you can add cash to it later.

    Works flawlessly for me! But I noticed you have to place the phone properly for it to work, with the Z30 I noticed I need to tap the BlackBerry logo on the machine for it to register the tap

    Nfc antenna is in the back casing. Tap the BlackBerry logo and it should work. (although I'm 1 for 2 so far, worked at one place but not another one)

    Don't 'tap' and then remove the phone. Place the phone over the screen and 'hover' over the area for a few seconds. Also, if you notice any casing/holder on the reader (often the left side of the Chase readers) avoid hovering from that side.

    Antenna location depends on what phone you have. Z30 NFC is not in the back cover. It's in the top of the phone.

    Most of the time it's the employees who aren't aware of the app. Just tell them your paying with Tim card and it should work flawlessly. I've had a few encounters when it wasn't working but it wasn't on my end. There machine wasn't working.

    yes i have tell them that im paying with the Tim card, im running the lasted "official " OS, the last Tim horton I went to the guy told me , I won't be suprised if it is our machine acting up,

    I am in Ottawa as well. You should he able to use this with any of their point of sale systems. I have had problems with the location in Rideau centre across from Shoppers Drug Mart. It is something the emoloyee's doing, and not understanding, even though I have said I will be paying with a Tim card repeatedly. They must be choosing pay pass or something, and then usually reply that the system doesn't accept this type of payment. I insist that it does. I have used it there before. Have never seen a manager there and once just walked away because I refused to dig out a card or cash at the time

    It should work. I never show them the phone, they get confused. Sometime they think it's credit cause remember rogers and CIBC do offer payment through NFC
