I know that feeling! That 25 days of free apps promotion really is giving me a dillema. My memory is almost full and these still are about 10 days to go!
At times like this I wish there was a 32 GB version or that I had the Porsche Design just for the memory :P

Do you have a lot of Gameloft games? If so, that might be the reason why.

This has occurred to several people. To fix it you need to copy your data from the card then format the card then recopy your data.

Nah it renders them unusable. Tried a couple of days ago with 3 apps and they all stopped working after that

I know I have to delete some games, and they say there are no apps lol.

Wish it broke it down more so I could see which apps are the biggest ones.

10.2.1.xxxx has an appmanager which shows that info. Here's the top of the list and pie chart but the list goes all the way through apps

Sorry I missed that. In that case he'll need to wipe the device and not restore his apps from backups.

Won't 10.2.1 just over-write most of his current OS files instead of having them both side by side :s

Yes but it still needs to download the installer file and create temp files during the installation process. I don't know about this but you could expect 10.2.1.x to be larger in size due to more features.

Your problem is Phantom data and not your Apps and files.

If you reload your OS you will notice that you go down to about 4Gb and even with a few massive size games you will stay around 10 to 12Gb,including a reasonable amount of photos and music you currently dont even have.

Trying lots of apps and specially sideloading .bar files creates massive amounts of Phantom data on my opinion.
Theres a video surveillance app that although not working on the z10 after sideloading, once deleted leaves a nice 2.5Gb of phantom data behind.
I look for remains of it after deletion, found an "empty" file and once manually deleted through File folder I regain as if by magic those 2.5Gb but this one was an extreme case, most will leave a lot less.

I reinstall the OS an advice from a user on the Blackberry facebook page and went from your situation in to 9Gb free storage on the phone.
WE ONLY TALKING PHONE here, for an SDcard full the solution is a bigger sdcard as already stated.

And you can not move the apps or games to the sdcard as also stated above by others, its impossible now and probably will be always impossible on this OS.

If you on 10.2.1.xxxx the method above, deleting through the Device monitor for me is the only way to avoid Phantom data once you reinstall.

    Hope it helps

Bearing in mind I'm using 10.2.1.1055.. I noticed I too was getting rather full. I've been trying most of the freebies and have deleted all of them (games) and yet the space isn't improving much. So I restarted the phone and low and behold a bunch of them came back, so this time I deleted them with the new app manager which showed an immediate improvement in space. Then I used Files and Folders and went through the misc/android folder and found a bunch of android ports that didn't fully delete. After all was done I came up with a several more spare gigs of space. Nogago maps was one of the worst offenders for not deleting all it's map data from the android folder.
