Anybody have issues with their keyboard double tapping buttons? I constantly have to proofread because for whatever reason my Q likes to randomly insert two letters on the keypress instead of just one. Ie. Its happened 5 or 6 times on this post alone (make that 7).

At first I thought it was just the way I type, but just two minutes ago it did it with the delete key, and deleted the whole word - still going after my thumb was clearly off the button (only three letters maybe but enough to know it isn't my typing style). Software issue? Hardware? It's a huge PITA either way.

I would guess hardware. My first Q10 had 2 keys that didn't have a positive click to them, amd they often did a double shot. I returned it right away, and the replacement is good.

My s button does it all the time, and now I get periods between words randomly.

Are you running a leak? I updated to 10.2.1 and have had a similar issue. But I never really notice when exactly it happens so it's hard to pin point the issue. It seems as though sometimes I hit the w key and an e shows up.

But I'll take it with all the features I got upraded to.

I'm do get this sometimes but only since I installed 10.2.1 so it's worth the odd double typing for all the extra bits and bobs

I've had this problem on my 9900, and also my Q10. Sometimes its a software issue while at other times its the membrane under the keyboard. I would suggest sending it in for repair, im waiting for the christmas free apps/movies/games to be over then im sending mine in for repair as well.

T-Mo is replacing mine for a $20 dollar fee. My s and . Buttons "double tap". New q10, and no problems!
