Just got my z10 yesterday and I'm super excited lol. I did a bit of looking around and I have sort of an idea of how to install the 10.2 leak. But I don't want to brick my phone. Anything that I need to know??

Run the autoloader and don't touch the phone until you see the blackberry welcome menu. it's as simple as that. If it does get screwed up for whatever reason. Just start the process all over again.

Well, they CAN Brick. But it's not easy. It's actually harder than just fixing it.

Just make sure to read instructions and you're good.

I come from Android and used to install Cyanomod all the time. It was a b**ch to get my phone to recognize the inserted SD card and required 5 to 6 reboots each time. I thought it was easy compared to other OSes because Android is the most customizable.
When I jumped to BlackBerry, it was like - whoa, finished already?

While they may not brick often, they can brick, or, at least, mine could and did - last week. And it was a LEAD brick - took lots of futzing to unbrick it.

Hey, welcome to the club! It's really, really hard to brick these things so I wouldn't worry about it. Just plug in and run the autoloader. I highly recommend 10.2.1.1055 it's superb!

You're going to love the Z.

What are you using to download the apks with? Try side loading snap on your phone and using that to download.
