    Hello,

I am running Playbook with 2.1.0.1753
I already sideloaded applications some time ago without any issue

However this time, I have an issue
I downloaded DDPB 1.11 here DDPB - Load Android Apps on Playbook and BB10 - Blackberry Playbook and BB10 Android Apps and installed it on my nez PC running Win 8.
Everything just goes fine as shown in every tutorial. The procedure ends with the "Done" pop up. However I do not have any shortcut of the sideloaded app on my Playbook afterwards. I rebooted it 3 times without success.

Wierdly enough, when ticking "Run on Playbook after finish", the application is indeed running and working correctly after PB is deconnected from my PC.
But once the app is closed, no trace of it in the menu

Has anybody ever faced this issue? Any idea how to solve it?

    Thanks in advance

Just to check an obvious one, have you scrolled across to see if it's one of the other screens? If you have lots of icons it will do that.

No they are not present in any of the screens

Sometimes this happens to me, I either have to restart the playbook or delete some apps to free up space, or sometimes I realised I installed a bar file which is not compatible with the playbook.

In fact it is even worse now
I did a security wipe to start fro, scratch. Everything went well, but now even apps downloaded from BB AppWorld are not showing in the Playbook menu

I can see qnd even launche fro, my computer both sideloaded apps and apps downloaded from the AppWorld via the Chrome extension "BB10 / PlayBook App Manager 2.2.1"

But no trace of shortut on the PB even after restarting it

    Any clue?

Post a screenshot of your homescreen here, maybe that will help us help you.

    Here you are
You have the 2 home screens and a screencap of what Chrome extension "BB10 / PlayBook App Manager 2.2.1" sees on my PB that is not present as a shortcut

OK let's ignore my preivous post.
I forgot this silly trick of the home screen being scrollable downwards...and not automatically puting new apps right-wards

    I am quite ashamed

Don't be too ashamed- you're not the first. But it's why I wanted to see a screenshot, to see if your homescreen was filled up. Anyhow, I guess you probably didn't need to wipe in the first place.

Indeed wiping was most probably not needed.
At least it did some cleanup...
