Anyone help on this? I've deleted my Gmail account completely but now I want to remove it from my z10 and I find that when I go into "Accounts" and select it, I am taken past the screen with the delete option and into the Gmail set up screen. Nothing I try can get me the option to delete the account.

So infuriating. I want rid of Google but now am stuck with a deactivated account demanding my login details in my hub.

Anyone know any way of removing a dead Gmail account?

Ok so managed a fix of sorts. Get a willing volunteer who has Gmail to lend you their details. By inputting a valid Gmail address and password, it gets you past the sign in screen and comes back with an error message which then allows you to delete.

Stupid oversight by BlackBerry though. Why can we just delete straight from the accounts screen without having to jump through google's hoops?
