The majority of Blackberry users ( by a huge margin) are still using Blackberry legacy devices. They are still outselling BB10!

Im using a 9900 as my work dedicated device.

The 9900 is a better blackberry than my Q10 (which I rarely use).

Actually I couldn't imagine using a legacy device anymore. If I had to, then maybe a 9900, but I really think there's not much sense in sticking to those old devices. Yes the dedicated buttons were nice and I prefer the rounded keyboard scheme to the already excellent Q10 keyboard, however, times have just changed.

I don't think they visit CrackBerry much though, and it makes me think, CrackBerry is not really a good representative for the typical BB user.

I have a 9900, since the day it came out. Before that the Torch 9800.
Looking to get BB10 but the Z30 isn't on my carrier. May as well wait it out until their next phone comes out which is top spec... 'hopefully.'

That's true. The typical BlackBerry user might be a die hard physical keyboard user, a business guy with a company issued phone, or someone who just wants to stick to what he is used to and what has always worked for him. Sadly enough, there are not many people using BlackBerry because they think it is good.

Right now I have the impression that nobody even knows what the new OS is capable of. Everybody (with the exception of crackberry guys and a minority of other people) thinks that BlackBerry is still the way it used to be, in a bad point of view.

I'm using a Torch 9810 at present with an upgrade due September 2014, which I'm not sure I'll take advantage of as I like the bridge functionality with my Playbook.

Upgraded to the z30 from a 9800 torch and a galaxy S3. Only wish this phone would get more advertising..it by far beats anything I ever had. BlackBerry, get your updates out. Let people know it's still cool to have the most secure phone that has tons of apps with Android run time. If this was apple this would be splashed all over the TV channels, ,people won't buy what they don't know the capabilities of,,to all my fellow BlackBerry users, I made the switch and it's well worth it BlackBerry 10 on the Z30. Perfect solution

9900. The best phone I've ever used.

I travel a bit, roughly once or twice per month, and the most I see BB's are while in airports and airplanes. Never once have I ever seen a single BB10 device in the wild. Ever. Mostly I see 9900 or also various 9700/9800's. I also see people with two phones...a BB and something else, usually Iphone.

This is proof, in my opinion, that A: BB has the worst marketing dept on the face of the earth, and B: even their current customers have little interest in switch to BB10....probably because of all of it's shortcomings.

Everytime I consider upgrading to a BB10 device I think of all the long list of legacy features I will lose. I don't want to. For the life of me I can't figure out why BB can't simply give the customer base what it wants. When you make a new car with great new features you don't leave behind power windows and locks and replace it with a plug for your music player. People expect products to keep all the features they had before....and then add more.

Yes the dedicated buttons were nice and I prefer the rounded keyboard scheme to the already excellent Q10 keyboard, however, times have just changed.

Times have not changed. At All. Nothing in "the times" make me want all the great features, speed, and efficiency of the legacy device any less, specifically the 9900,
