With all the nosing around in people's lives and privacy concerns, why not bring back MSN Messenger ?

It seems to me it was more simpler, fun and the two basic elements needed to communicate worldwide were far simpler for the average person to keep track of.

A person could add or delete who they wanted, when they wanted, and a slew of other desirables at will. And they didn't have to agree to all the nonsense now associated with numerous apps.

Sometimes simpler is better. Anyone agree ?

Jim Balsillie and Mike Lazaridis would agree. Oh wait...
Microsoft folded the MSN Messenger service into it's Skype service. It still exists, just in a different, inferior form.
The original messenger was pretty good, as I recall.

They should bring back MSN Messenger in it's original form. NO SKYPE, NO PAYING ! This is what was good about it. No permissions to authorize strangers into your private affairs. It was the element of fun, for one thing, that attracted SO MANY PEOPLE. If they make this exclusive with every BlackBerry, as BBM is, can you imagine how great it could continue to be ?

Someone should continue to keep the original form of MSN Messenger active.
