    Hello!
I just got my new phone two days ago and while it was rebooting after the update I noticed two white pixels on the black loading screen. To anyone who had the same experience: does it get worse? It doesn't bother me now but I know defective screens get the problem to spread over time. I wonder if I should return it now or wait to see what happens.

    Great phone by the way!

No "great" phone has dead pixels, return for another.

I can't recall the name but there's a BB test program (goes by initials) that can test the screen. But I'm not sure that I would accept defective pixels.

The software is called BlackBerry Virtual expert. It's free to download. Test out your device with it (it has display tests) to see what might be the issue. It will check for dead pixels. Come back and let us know the results once you have run the tests. Be interested to know the results.

I see the same two pixels but only on the loading screen. They aren't dead pixels ... or at least the in tests I have done I don't see them again.

Funny you should mentioned this either stuck or dead pixels. I had two in a factory sealed new BlackBerry PlayBook

That is odd. I have not looked to see if there are some 3rd party Display/lcd Tests that might tax it a bit more. Maybe the "loading screen" is a video with inherent blemishes????

I agree this is very strange. It doesn't sound like it is a problem when the OS Is loaded. Perhaps send the log to BlackBerry and see if you get a reply. I guess the real issue is whether or not this is an underlying problem. As you say F2, perhaps it's a glitch in the startup video and nothing more than that.
