Hi,

I've just joined and hope someone here can help I have a 9720 which wont turn on.
When you can get it to try and boot I get a white screen with an phone icon with a red x for a screen and a progress bar underneath which will go to 100% a few times then the phone dies again
I have removed the battery a load of times and even tried a known good battery from another 9720 but still the same I have also tried to reload os using desktop software (with battery removed) and that has failed and I get a message to switch off the phone which when it has no battery is kinda difficult .

Yes but was a gift sim free so wouldn't know where to return it?

im haveing a diffrent sort of issue with my blackberry 9720 during the day my phone went flat and then when i gt back i tried to charge it but i waited about 15 mins and it wouldnt turn on. so i have an ipod so i took the usb end and pluged it into the ipod charger and that didnt have any effect. so i pluged in the ipod wire into the plug for the black berry an it worked. so i have found another wire that fits the port on the phone and i am currently waiting. but it dosnt effect it i try and turn it on and there is no life but if i try and sell it i will only get about �40 for the phone so i need help please.
