    I have my Q10 since July 2013.
    I am in love!
I have absolutely no problem even though I loved typing on my 9900 better!
I have a better camera, I have so many pros with my Q.
But when I see a 9900 out there, I get jealous and I wanna put my hands on it!
I love how slim it was and I just wanna go back!
I swear if 9900's camera had auto focus there is no way I would leave this perfect phone!

Anyone agrees with my opinion? Anyone wanna go back?

I bought a sim card adapter so I can switch between my 9900 and Z10. I love the pure simplicity and workhorse features of the 9900, but always end up missing the screen and browser of the Z10.

Q10 is my daily driver. I have been assimilated into this ecosystem. I'm in too deep. All that I miss from my 9900, the Q10 can make up for it in other ways. Also I love to dangerously tinker with my phones and I feel I've reached the end of that road with the 9900. Although, it is always charged up and waiting for when I want it. I took care of that beast. Bought it used off a buddy who kept it in his pocket for 2 years without a case. I had to clean the mic but other than that it had (Zero Zilch None) no issues whatsoever with it. Loved the experience of the 9900.

I love how everyone has to say only good things about their 9900!
Also I'm impressed how all of you still have, or use it.
I gave up mine, sold it, so I can afford the Q!

You know there was something just so wrong about letting go of a IMHO a perfectly great phone I just couldn't do it.
Purchased one Q10 and won the other and still kept the 9900 activated.

I'm an old school photographer I have just as many old dslr cameras as I have old Blackberries, in saying that I use my phone for more screenshots than actual photos. Lol.

The 9900 is actually thicker than the Q10. The genius in its design is that the edges are beveled thus feeling thinner given lesser material.

I thought I missed my 9900 until the BB10 grew on me. 9900 is just too slow now.

    ? know, I love my q10 too!
But you know, my 9900 was my true love.
And I think it's the most beautiful phone ever!

Also, if Q10 had the silver metal and not a black one it would be so much better! It would look almost like 9900 only with more capabilities

You are aware that you can swap the black out for silver right?
Gold even, if that's your cup of tea.

Yes but the silver around the edges and the shape give the 9900 a more premium look and feel.

I never had a 9900, but I did have a 7290, 8700c, 8100, 9300, and 9310. After owning the Q, I don't miss any of those phones at all. I did love SureType on the Pearl, but the Q is the BEST phone I've ever owned. I'm sorry, but I'm not looking back.

The 9900 had to much bling to it! No thnx! Love the stealth look with the black anodized rim on the Q10! Of course everyone has their preference! No right or wrong!

To each his own I guess. I am on my second Q. Aside from the spinning clock and freezes of the 9900, I also had hardware issues on all 6 devices I owned over the years. The keyboard always creaked, was mushy and had light bleed through the keys.

    The Q always feels solid.

I still have my 9900 on my 2nd line...it still serves me well when needed but in no way does it compare to the Q10. The OS is soooooo slow but that being said it is a solid device to communicate with no doubt. I will be replacing it soon with a Z10 because of the slow OS...

I completely agree, esp. after using the 9650. In fact, if I had a second 9930 laying around, I probably would have already passed on the Q10 to someone and made the 9930 my daily driver after the first week. If only it had autofocus. The look of that silver edge is just right that every time I see the 9930 that is active, I want to hold it to know what a right device feels like again. The Q10 is good too but in a different way.

Hardware wise, I prefer 9900. But
BB10 is so much better OS wise. So I use Q10 as my daily driver but use 9900 as company phone sort of. My company has given me a Samsung flip phone, I've taken out SIM & put it in to 9900. No BBM & BIS but works. Now I can enjoy both beloved BlackBerries.
