I had to switch from my z10 to sg4 due to my z10 using data while connected to wifi. The Verizon rep said it's a known software issue. Just wondering if this happened to others and as a side note I hate SG4 I miss my Z10.

Nope. My wife and I both share a 4 gig plan. She has an S3 and I a Z10.

We don't go over one gig most months.

I have been having the same issue, but was not told that it was an issue but I use how the phone works, I will be switching phones in the upcoming weeks, my data is ridiculously high!

Just turn mobile data off if you are not using it.

No issues here either..connected to WiFi both at home and work, and I do use a lot of data..streaming music, watching videos, social networking, browsing..if it was a software issue my bill would probably look like my phone number.

If it is a know software issue... maybe Verizon should update to 10.2????

I've never gone over my 2GB allowance, I pull a lot of data via Wi-Fi. But I've been using leaks for as long as there have been leaks... might have used the current official Verizon (as a leak) back in June for a week or so.

How long did you have your Z10? They just let you "trade" it for another device?

I had my Z10 since July. Verizon said I couldn't get another Z10 and I had to get a similar phone I tried to get a Z30 but they it has not been out long enough hence the SG4. They shipped me the SG4 at no cost and I agree why not Verizon do a software update to 10.2.

My data use has been higher with the Z10. I use wifi at home and 4g on the road. Currently at 4 gb with the cycle ending on 12/9. This is the reason that I paid $299 for my phone so I could keep my unlimited data plan and use the phone that I want.
