I need help. My phone just quite rotating from portrait to landscape and vice versa.
I have been running 1725 for quiet some time now..this never happened before. I tried doing a battery pull and nothing changed. Also tried launching the compass app and it tells me that my phone is missing the sensors..
    Anyone please advice...
    Thanks in advance

So I tried rebooting the phone several times and right after it boots up I launched the compass app and it worked for about 5 minute before the app crashes and when you restart it get the same error message as before.
    Any one...any ideas??

There seem to be a number of reports of this starting today. I'm not sure that the common denominator has been determined.

Happened to me today too!! This is strange. Another thread reported many people losing their blinking light. All in the same day.....no one was updating software. something is going on.

Don't know if it's just my eyes, but the screen also seems to be a bit brighter. I double checked the brightness setting and its exactly where I had it set. Don?t know what's up.

Brighter screen is also being reported in another thread. It is no doubt, I virus has been released. The best I can tell it is from app world. Most are saying they have downloaded the free 25 days of Christmas apps, movies or games. Brighter screen, no led light and no rotation are the common issues all starting today. Hundreds affected so far on CB

Yep, guilty as charged. Download a free movie this morning.
It'll be super stupid of BlackBerry if that is what actually is causing it.

Hey I've got this problem today. I tried to restart the device, the problem seemed to be solved. However, it has come back again after few minutes. Can't play any racing game. I'm on OS 10.2.0.431 (STL 100-1)

Rebooted now my led is acting up, wtf man! This has to be software related and it started yesterday. Cyber Monday attack of some sort maybe. The only common denominator is that we all have bbs connected to the Internet.

I am experiencing the same behaviour on my BlackBerry Z10 (10.2.0.429). I have NOT installed any new applications nor any leaked versions of BlackBerry OS 10 on this smartphone. Every application which used to rotate on-demand between landscape and portrait orientation refuses to autorotate since early this morning (03 December 2013). Wireless carrier is Rogers in Canada.

Also, while playing Need for Speed this morning the rotational controls for the car was not working properly. The car was unsteerable.

Did Thorsten Heins have a hand in this fiasco as a parting shot at BlackBerry 10 users? Something is afoul with this incident and it will be a feeding frenzy for the media later today as this situation is reported.

Battery Guru is reporting a negative value for power usage.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON BLACKBERRY?

After multiple shutdown and cold boot cycles the issue is resolved but recurs within minutes.

    CHENNNN

Got the same problems, add to that the leather pouch not putting the phone to sleep and volume buttons not working. Last thing I downloaded is the update to Real Racing and the Mass Effect game that was on sale...
