yes its a case ,i guess its connected to the phone and simulate a keyboard .
i saw people posting ''the best of blackberry and iphone together'',''i was so waiting for that '' etc..

i didnt and will not try but i guess its a good way to waste $99 ..

I wouldn't think so. I'm thinking out loud here, but it's a case, so it probably wouldn't be covered by a keyboard device patent. I'm really not sure though.

Why would anybody find this to be worth a laugh?

Yes, there are patents for design. If apple can complain about rounded corners....

Probably just too small a fish to fry. I doubt they sell more than a handful.
