For anyone interested in this, Walmart is offering the 9360 for $199.99 with no contract. I know it's OS7, but if someone is looking for a phone out of contract and a Blackberry, give this one a look.

Purchase the BlackBerry Curve 9360 GSM Cell Phone for less at Walmart.com. Save money. Live better.

I never had an OS7 phone but I always liked them. Too bad I don't need a backup right now. I would be tempted to get it.

Overpriced for last generation technology. Although considering the weak integration between BlackBerry PlayBook and BlackBerry 10 smartphones running BlackBerry Bridge, maybe a BlackBerry 7 smartphone has sometime to offer.

In other news, I have one tab on my browser set to Amazon and I'm just about ready to push the buy button on 2x 16GB Motorola Moto G. They are also $199 and with no contract and will make great Christmas presents for my teenage daughters.

Yeah, I don't think the 9360 can compare with the Moto G. Crazy, how even after all this time, BlackBerry still can't make a ultra affordable, great-value device. A Z30 at or Q10 at $199 with no contract would be interesting though.

The 9360 is a NO GO. I'd say get anything else, even a 9720 if you want BlackBerry 7. The battery life on the Curve 9360 is what really brings the phone down. Unless you're a very light user who only makes a few calls that last at most 10-15 minutes the battery life will haunt you.

    It's cheaper in Canada. $150 I believe.

I'd definitely take a Moto G over a 9360 any day of the week.

I feel like BlackBerry should be dropping the BB10 devices down to $199 off contract. But whatever...

Not really. The integration is more or less complete minus the phone call alerts since they've added SMS and BBM support. Email and calendars are largely redundant; I didn't use the bridge apps even in OS7.

The 9360 wasn't bad when I had it for a few months, but god $199 is expensive for it. Should be $99 tops. Even so, OS7 is done as much as I loved it so I would rather get a used Q5. BB10 has a slim chance of a future, BB7 has none.

Are you in the US or UK? If so they have you taken care of. Carphonewarehouse has it I believe for 179 pounds and in the us direct, unlocked from BlackBerry its $199.
