Here is a good question that I have failed to find in any forum. Of all the Blackberry phones out there and the indications for older phones or even newer ones to go dead with the failure of the on-board CMOS button cell, Where is the list of the cell size numbers and availability for all these different model phones?
Has anyone found the series numbers or a place that these button cells can be obtained from? I would appreciate any insight in this. I know that some phones will run for a limited time without the cell installed, but for those of us that would rather replace the dead or corroded cell, where should we look?

Thanks for any information on this. Perhaps there can be a list of Phones and there corresponding cells listed here.

On most devices as small as a phone, the batteries are probably integrated into an IC on the board of the phone, so unless you replace the entire board, or have some mad soldering skills, there's no easy way to replace the battery.
