    Today while watching a video on my flawless BlackBerry Z10 I've discovered that it is possible to perform a pinch zoom on a video while it is playing ! I was amazed and I reported it immediately to a friend which holds an iPhone and he was not able to do that on his phone! Another trick that BlackBerry can do and tha iPhone cannot lol

    Running 10.2.1.1055

    It definitely is a great feature! It's been on the PlayBook since launch and on BB10 since launch as well.

    I just recorded a test video but could not pinch to zoom. I am running stock OS on att Q10.

    it has to do with this last option I do not know the translation: Go to settings:
    Discovered a cool feature on BB10!-img_00001368.png
    Chose the last one as said, turn on pinch to zoom...
    it is turned off by default (I suggest to let it turned off)... one can zoom every screen, main, hub, vids etc.

    No, don't turn magnify mode on. It makes the whole thing a mess unless you are actually visually impaired.

    Open your videos on the video app and you'll be able to zoom, regardless of your settings.

    ^^^^This, also doing a search for videos (provided you know file name); opening through File Manager won't let you zoom at all

    That's not the only thing that the amazing BB10 OS can do! Iphone users are idiots, they are so full of themselves. Once they wake up and smell the coffee they will be migrating to BB10 devices.

    you can only use pinch ZOOM in Video app not in Camera app

    Yes you can, either it's still camera or video, you can pinch to zoom.

    Yes u can in camera, picture, videos, the only thing is time shift ! If ur camera is on time shift mode u cant zoom !

    Thanks ;-) But my suggestion didn't help... Leider :-/
    Edit: I discovered why I couldn't pinch to zoom vids: I experimented by opening YouTube vids in the Browser... However, when watching private vids I took with my Q10, I could do it!!
    Well, I am in a better mood now!
