    Will BB10 ever have showcase mode? This feature is indispensable for me in the PlayBook. I use Quotrek, an android ported live stock quote app that needs netmite, also ported, to be installed. On the PlayBook it keeps running seamlessly in the background. On my Z10 OS 10.2.0.1371, it dies when it becomes a tile...
    I can understand the philosophy that says "running video from movies in the back ground is useless with small tiles", but in the case where one has an app that requires a constant uninterrupted stream of numerical data, Showcase Mode is a must.
    Any info on BB's plans would be appreciated.

    Dont quote me on it but i think i read somewhere something like that is coming in 2.1. I miss that as well

    Update: I am now running 10.2.1.1259 and Quotrek runs seamlessly. Now I can pick up a phone call, use other apps, and when I return to Quotrek, it's still running.
    There doesn't seem to be a showcase mode yet, but this is good enough for me.
