    Hi.

So, with 1055 leak I was hoping to get something useful, like - Offline GPS Sat Nav, since Android had some of them working...
So... I know that it was possible to side load.. Also I know, that Sygic was not working when loaded from apk... (Actually, Sygic is visually nice, and really good. But..)

And then, I tried iGO - loaded from .apk, straight from the phone....
    AND BOOM! IT WORKS!!!

    At last!!!!
So we got at least one off-line GPS sat nav which is from Android platform and which works. yay.

I am not sure if I should post the link, as iGo I think is paid...
the only thing is, that there's plenty of iGo maps and software it self in torrent sites...

Strange. I found iGo Navigation on the iTunes Store for $24.95, but can't find any evidence that it exists as an Android app, even to buy, say, from Google Play.

Closest I could come was an offline map and navigator program, "MapFactor GPS", which is free, installable on 10.2.1.1055, but the downloaded maps don't save to my SD card, so the program won't function. The maps DL'ed to my Device and I got it working.

It's not real user friendly, you have to choose everything from a succession of menus (country, state, city, street), and the itinerary it calculates isn't intuitive, even when set to "fastest" rather than "shortest". It's a British program, I think.

Anyway, it isn't the iGo program.

Almost all android navigation apps work on 1055. But there is one problem, only pirated/patched apk files must be used. I am running copilot, igo and navigon without any issues. Even they work better than on a real android phone, nexus 4 for example.

You can install it from apk, but you'd need the whole Sygic folder from an Android devices SD card. This folder has to be copied to your devices /misc/android folder.
To get it up and running do the following:
    1. install sygic on an Android device and fully set it up
    2. Copy sygic apk to your BlackBerry and install it - do not start sygic
    3. Copy the sygic folder
    4. Open sygic

Onto the devices memory. There's a folder "misc/Android" in which you have to put the whole Sygic folder.

I don't think posting the sygic folder is legit, but I'd guess you could find it on the Internet
Also you should be able to run the installation in a virtual android like genymotion to obtain the Sygic folder.

Followed instructions, everything seems to be working well. I don't see it asking anymore for activate/register, does it mean this version should be ok and won't expire in 7 days? Verified that the the 'content.lic' file is in the Sygic/Maps folder. I'm pretty sure I chose 7 day trial at the beginning, now it doesn't prompt me for activation and I tried checking in Settings and About, but can't tell. If anyone can help out, thanks!

I guess it will ask for the key after 7 days. If so you can purchase the key through the sygic e-shop - did it the same way. Before purchasing the app I tried a cracked version to see if it works properly.
