Oh and why port the android version when there is one listed in BlackBerry world?

Is there a difference between the BlackBerry World version and the android port?

I am not sure you mean "WiFi Calling" from the BlackBerry. It is "WiFi Calling from your PC using VoIP". It will also allow you to transfer a call from your BlackBerry to your PC mid call without missing a beat. I have a headset on my own PC and rarely take a call on the BlackBerry itself, anymore; It is simply redirected to the PC.

I've got to learn how to use this.

Are there any instructions I can read?

I logged into the one number program I downloaded from BlackBerry World and noticed Rogers one number allows one to register up to 5 phone numbers into the account? One is my cell phone. What are the other 4 used for?

I think what the Thread starter was referring to was the updated version of the Android Rogers One Number app. The new version allows you to make a call with your "one" number (which is your Rogers cell #) via Wifi or your data plan. Hence you can make calls anywhere in the world if you have a internet connection without incurring any long distance cost as it's a VOIP service.

The difference between the Android vs the BB10 version is the VOIP feature that was added during the recent update. The BB10 version is very limited (what the Android version was like prior to the update) where you only have access to Reach Me Rules (call forwarding, ring my number, block calls). The current Android version is full feature, where you can make calls, text, make video calls (haven't tried that out yet). Hope that helps clarify.

Download the apk file, convert it to a bar file if your not on the latest 10.2.1.1055 leak. Or just install the Apk if you are on the latest leak.

    Thanks!

I tried to convert the file to BAR using the online converter and the program once side loaded simply crashed and closed.

    Anyone know why?

If your not on the 10.2.1.1055 leak, than you would need do the conversion via the debug token method aka the xsacha method.

Read all the Rogers.ca material first, and use Rogers technical support people too -- before posting to ask for basic information. My opinion.

Thanks for that! Up and running now. I noticed I have to leave the app running to get calls and texts. I turned the network off, just wifi and did some tests.

Yeah, it's not the best made app, it has the same complaint seen in Google Play, once the app is minimized on a Android device it logs u out. It's one of the reason why the app itself has a low rating in Google app store.
