So everyone seems to be excited by the ability to install APK files right into this next update and the Crackberry guys seem to think this is gonna fill in the app gap problem for many people.

I have one question : how will app updates be handled ? Will I have to reinstall all those APK files all the time when those Android apps will have been updated by their editors. Aren't the updates deployed via Google Play in the first place ?

I believe the bigger Android stores send update notifications to your handset. A store like 1mobilemarket definitely do.
