Well there's a native one in BlackBerry world that works pretty well.

Yeah, but I'd much prefer to use the free, official app rather than a $10 third party one.

I understand, but 10 bucks to control a whole sound system in my opinion is a small price to pay compared to the actual price of the sonos itself. It's a nice native app with many good reviews, personally I think it's worth it. Sonos won't release a BlackBerry App probably ever.

I'm not saying I will not buy the app if the actual Sonos app won't work - i'm saying i'd prefer to use the free one if possible

Ten minutes ago I discovered that the reason the Sonos software wouldn't work on my pc was because it doesn't play nicely with BlackBerry Link - you have to disable the blackberry link vpn for the Sonos controller to work on a pc. I'm thinking that that might also be why the Sonos app won't work on a BlackBerry phone? Is there a way to disable blackberry link on a bb10 phone?

I have link turned off and still no go, ON the pc I had to go into network connections and disable the vpn from there.
