Hi. I'm new with z10. I have it for 3 days now... and wonder, how long your battery lasts?
Does OS have to settle after first start?

Hi, I'm on the same OS on STL 1, use phone for let's say around 30 minutes calls 30 minutes games, 100 - 150 BBM messages, around 25 emails, 10 texts, twitter for around 1 hour, some browsing for around 30 minutes. The battery lasts around 10 hours with that.

Yes, it lasted less for initial days, but is awesome now

Is there an app for bb10 that displays more detailed battery stats? I know android lets you see how much screen-on time you get and that is how i used to base my past android purchases, by comparing possible/avg screen-on times...

Any estimates of how much screen time people get on the z10? I know people have different usage habits.

15 hours with heavy usage and 30 hours with medium usage on my Q10

Well, I took the phone off charge at 8.00 in the morning and at 22.20 got message that 20% left. So it's quite good?

The battery is the big dissapointment for me and I am not getting 8 hours moderate use with no background apps running which means unless I am near charging I can not play games on it so in effect I was better off with my old BB.

However I do not know how this compares to other smartphones as I have only had Blackberry over the past few years and expect in all honesty that I have the wrong phone for my needs

I have noticed different battery performance in different countries and wonder if this is connected to signal strength , I am going to look into this,

People who have batteries not lasting long, either renew your battery or just a second one and external charger.

It'll help, lots.

I've noticed that if I keep my phone for overnight charging, it drains faster than when taking it off the charger before going to sleep. It doesn't loose a lot of charge overnight so a little charging in the morning gets it back to 100 and battery performs well all through the day.

But that's just my observation

Looks like your screen brightness lower than mine. I just adjusted it to 50%. We'll see how that goes...

Device monitor, im on 10.2.0.1791, and I took the bar file from 10.2.1.1555, works perfectly

well, first, download 1055' autoloader, use sachesi to extract all the bar files, and look for the sys.mon one and install it (chrome extension or DDPB).
and if you want to go downgrade that file, with your main OS autoloader, do the same with sachesi, extract all the files, look for the sys.mon one, and install it

Some say that with 1055 leak battery sucks. I'm not sure if I should try on my z10, on my Q10 runs well...
