    Hi!

Does anybody know when BlackBerry officially supports the secure work space for lotus domino / notes environments to securely integrate iOS- and Android devices?

Unless they have changed something... no it is not supported. You might have more luck with current info via the Support Forums at BlackBerry.Com dealing with Enterprise Solutions.

I've heard that it will be supported on BES 10.2. But I don't know any release date. Thanks for the tip with BlackBerry.com.

My company uses Lotus Notes...I'm not from the IT department, but my BYOD Z10 uses Blackberry Balance and I access my email and calendar just fine..

    Hi jsmenard1!
Yes, the same as mine. I'm using a Z10 too and have access to mail, contacts, calendar, file shares, internal websites and so on - in the work area. But the secure work space is a container solution to integrate iOS- and Android devices managed by the BES10 server. So the companies can manage BlackBerry, iOS and Android devices with one server. That's not working with notes at the moment :-(

I've heard from our BlackBerry "consultant" that BES 10 service pack 2, with secure work space for lotus notes/traveller support, is in beta now and will be released in the next few weeks. Hopefully Waiting so hard of it.

    Hi!
What do you want to know exactly? We have Domino 9, Traveler 9 and BES 10.2. I've tested BlackBerry Z10, iPhone, iPad and Samsung Galaxy S2 so far. Everything works fine.

So my problem is that I have an Samsung S4 running 4.3, I installed the BEs10 client without issues. However, when I go configure my email client.. it keeps saying.. can not connect.. I have the BES10 talking to traveler and it works on IOS without issues. Blackberry says they don't officially support the setup on android. However, I'm sure there is a way to make it work but I can't figure it out. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

Hi! Sorry for that delay but my daughter was born a few days ago :-D
Back to your problem. I have no Android 4.3 device near by my side but I will try it out with the Samsung 4.0 device from my wife asap. I'll post here the steps I've made to configure it and hope that I can help you this way.

    Here the steps / results

    BES10 UDS Console:
    - chose my user
    - [+] tab for new device
    - set activation password and expiration date / time (e-mail was selected to my address)

    Android 4.0 device:
    - BES10 Client from play store installed - opened - EULA accepted
    - entered my e-mail address
    - entered the server address like <country code>.bbsecure.com/<SRPID code>
    - accepted our certificate (pop up)
    - Activation (ATTENTION HERE!) - my e-mail address was in there automatically and I had to change it to my LAST NAME! - put in the activation password
    - "device administrator" activated

    That's it!

After that I was prompted to automatically install some predefined apps like "BES10 MGR, Work Connect, Docs ToGo...".

Hope I could help you with that?!
