    i am using an unlocked verizon q10 running 10.2.0.1803 . when i try and send a new sms my q10 adds 011and country code before the number and the sms doesn't go through. in addition when replying to an incoming sms , the sms comes through as +country code and the number and again, i cannot reply to it. currently i have smart dialing set to my country code, if i change it to unknown, then i get 0111 added to the number i want to text and no country code. my national number length is set to 9 , just like on my z10 .i dont know what to do

    First step would be to reboot. Assuming you did that, did you do a restore? Sometimes back ups cause issues.

    Anyone have any ideas for this guy?

    You could try increase the number length from 9 to 10?
    You can also try reset your smart dialing, there is a little icon on the bottom of the screen.
    Once reset, don't change anything in your smart dialing and just try test with the settings it was reset to and see if the texts work as normal
    What country code are you using?

    You just need to adjust your Smart Dialing settings in Phone App Settings.

    i have tried that ! nothing works! still, all i can is get messages but not reply!
