Can someone tell me if in 10.2.1, the ability to file Sent Messages has returned to the Blackberry?

    Thanks in advance!

i don't fully understand what you mean by 'ability to file sent messages'...can you clarify?

the hub has the option to show/hide filed messages and sent messages

my messaging experience is this, when i send a mail, the sent mail shows with a check mark icon while incoming shows with an envelope icon because i have elected to show my sent messages

    No, It definitely isn't there.
FYI -- Not sure if you're aware or not, but the ability to selectively "delete on handheld" and "delete on handheld and server" or "prompt" has been added. I seem to recall reading one of your posts where you wanted this back quite urgently.

I don't think that's what the OP was referring to. I believe he wants the ability to file sent messages to specific folders. For example, move sent message about Project Area51 to a sub folder with incoming messages about Project Area51 At the moment, we have to do this from the desktop. The OCD in me would like the ability as well...

If you are on an active sync account you should be able to file to any folder you have in that account. I just tried it on an Outlook.com account. I couldn't find the option to create a new folder via the email program, but you could always create them on the PC or in the case of Outlook.com, use the phones web browser to log into the Outlook.com website and create them.

Creating the folder isn't the issue. I have two EAS accounts, all folders synced. I can view messages in the folders. But, the problem is that if you send a message, you are unable to move it to/ file it in a specific folder. There is no option available to do so. So, I hide sent messages, and file them periodically from my PC. This isn't a big deal for me, but different users have different priorities.

CC it to yourself, and then file it once you see it in your Inbox. Quick and easy work-around.
Although the original poster is already aware of that.

Yes, you should be able to, as it was possible in every iteration of BBOS I can remember, not to mention every mobile computing platform out there. But nope. Not in BB10.

You are correct. I hadn't tried it on a sent message, just a received. Hopefully they will enable this in a future OS update.

Welcome to the CrackBerry forums, pjsacmar.

Yes you can, if you're comfortable loading a leak. This article gives the link to the thread with the OS and a "how to" link. ***Be sure to back up your device before attempting! *** Be sure to read instructions thoroughly. Many users have issues because they miss or ignore these.
