RIM Data. What is it? How do i turn it off. Every day, sometimes it is 10am, 6pm, 10pm or 1am I am going through 16MB-250MB of data. All apps are off, hotspot is off, tethering is off. I am running 10.1.0.4181 (having problems with my backup so I haven't updated yet).

I am going over my 2GB monthly data plan by 1-3GB/month. This is killing me. Can any of you geniuses help me out and let me know what I need to turn off or disable?

looks normal to me, Z10 is a data heavy device.

its prob your apps running in the background.

I switched to a unlimited data plan to avoid, data overage charges.

There is an option in settings under Security & Privacy > Diagnostics to allow RIM to collect diagnostic and usage data which could be what it is. Not totally sure but it's worth looking. Also, in Settings > Location services there are options for Location based ads as well as Traffic Data Collection which might be causing data to be used when you aren't expecting it.

Makes me glad that my BlackBerry data plan though capped at 5GB while my carrier is reporting 0KB.
