I'm a die hard blackberry fan, but I don't even know why since this company keeps on deceiving me...
I currently own a z10 and I love it even though I still miss my 9900 keyboard sometimes, and I think all the bb10 gestures are great but I actually think that bb10 is aesthetically ugly...
Anyway, I'm just asking myself, am i missing on something by owning a BlackBerry? Are other phones any better? I mean for the last 3 years I always end up at some point feeling like throwing my phone against a bricked wall because it feeezes for no apparent reasons, are other phones any better?
I'm asking this because I'm giving myself up to March to decide if I'm stinking with BB or if I'm moving to another OS (probably android cause I just don't get along with ios.)
I'm always trying to convince people to try bb10(like forcing my GF to keep BBM on her iPhone even though she doesn't have a data plan), but I'm at a point where I'm actually trying to convince myself to stay with this platform cause its seems that even though they're working hard on bringing improvements, they're always behind others platforms.(but I could be wrong, so that's why I'm asking you guys if other phones are actually better...)
I use to buy into the bb10 is young and that we should give it time to get better, but what the hell, they could've brought a couple of iPhone and androids( I know they probably did...), played with them, and built something better, and yeah I know it's easier said then done, but for God's sake every time they bring a new features it's seems like it's still lacking something ( for example notifications on the lock screen that can't be opened..I know it has changed with the new leak but why dose it always take so long to get on par with other platforms?...)

Anyway I'll stop my rant here and I'll edit it tomorrow cause for now it's seems like a bunch of gibberish since I took one too many drinks...

got the z10 when first released and liked it,then got htc one and sold z10 (htc one overrated!!) then sold htc one and got galaxy s4. well galaxy s4 now sold and am back with a z10 !!!!!! the z10 is a great phone!!!! good size,runs fast and smooth,battery lasts just as long as most other smartphones and os is so quick and easy to use compared to android! yes z10 is a GOOD phone ;-)

Decent enough phone few issues with it but I know plenty of people that have issues with the S4 and others, the battery is the big disaster on the Z10 for me.
If you miss the keyboard then you probably like me would have been better off getting a Q10, I realised my mistake and will more than likely get one but waiting to see how upgrades go.

One thing about the Z10 is that it's a pretty tough phone though with the abuse mine gets from me to still working.

Yes I think it is a pretty good phone, others will say different .

The Z10 is a very good phone. If you are having problems convincing yourself that it is, despite being a "die hard blackberry fan", then get whatever phone is going to make you happy. It really is that simple.

Android is known for its crashing apps and other bugs. The Z10 never crashes apps, never freezes, never bugs.

I have to admit I'm on a leak so I have experienced a couple of minor issues. But with it being a leak, I can't blame BlackBerry, only myself. (love leaks though!)

The grass is always greener. Been on Android and hated it, now back to my beloved blackberry. Remember that bb10 is still a young OS and with the regular updates from blackberry it will keep getting better over time. Pretty soon you'll be able to install Android apps natively too.

I'd say stick it out. Remember there's no such thing as a perfect phone.

Yes.. remember the OS is new and improving all the time. Big leap with 10.2 and 10.2.1 looks like it'll offer even more features. But it really up to you. Go with what make sense and works for YOU.

Don't get android as it any android phone will start lagging with months! And the z10 has the best display in any phone! The phone is also lightning fast and with the toast notification, and all the other features! And besides the only thing android was better than BlackBerry was due to the apps! But with 10.2.1., the app gap is gone! So y change when. You already got the best phone in the world!

The Z10 is an amazing phone, the thing is all BB 10 smartphones are or will be excellent phones because if the OS used, BB 10 is just in my opinion an innovative OS, the future is gesture based and the no button unlock is just a must buy and a must get, of course in addition to other features.

All you have to do is peruse the Andoid Central forums, iMore and WP Central to see what kinds of problems they are having. By compsrison Blackberry is a great phone. Anyway its your own perception that you must be guided by.

I'm a big fan of the keyboard but the way bb10 works I feel it is better with the touch screen only.

If you try to understand the philosophy behind the z10 keyboard you will appreciate it and get used to it and be productive with it.

Other than that it's a tough phone...for $300 cash you can't possibly get a better phone s4, ip5s both are much more $$$ and while good phones are definitely not that much better to warrant the cost.
