I have four friends willing to give bb10 a try , but they need the magic jack app to work , i have tried it several time on different runtimes and different os but with no success .



I don't have the new os recently leaked , can someone out there with it give this app a try ? I gave up a long time now, i got an android device just to run this app , whish i could get in running on my Z10, to most people this app may not be a big deal, but we live in the caribbean and this is the app we use allot to communicate with families and friends in the US and Canada. Hopefully it works and my friends join me using bb10

Strange how much it looks like a BB10 app, but doesn't run on BB10.... have you contacted MagicJack and asked if they're going to put out a BB10 version, or possibly port the Android app?

By the way, are you running OS 10.2 or not? If not, maybe the 10.2 update will fix it...

i am running 10.2 , the last time i contacted them , they said they had no plan to support bb10 at the time, perhaps i will contact them , so many android apps ported over works , not sure why this one just won't

i would , i don't need the same number , does not matter to me because i am the one doing all the calling, I used one before called MO+ used your gmail account to cheap calls but when i updated to 10.2 did not work well like it used to

I used an app called ephone. It is also free calls in North America. And free call back to your home city from any where in the world.
It would be interesting if someone can do a side by side comparison between the two.
I found the ephone voice quality is a hit and miss, just like Skype. It depends on the network.

is this the app u could also install on your playbook , if that's it then i don't think it was ever free for me, if you are based in the us or canada i think it may be free for you , the difference is anywhere in the world you are magicjack app makes free calls to us and canada

I'm from the carribean to I use magic jack but because there is none for bb10 yet I use r phone and it works the same way actually ephone is free

you can't call (voice) land lines with BBM (or people who don't have a BB phone)

most older folks don't really carry a smartphone who i correspond to, that's the only reason i use this app , you could call them at anytime

that's good .... can't even get my sis to switch from iphone and she complains that she has no room in her phone ... hahahaha
