I have not seen 10.2 as I am on AT&T but I would like to hear from those have experienced it..
One of my cousins just told me that he was thinking of moving from Z10 to Samsung Note 3 but changed his mind after they got 10.2.4 update. He said it was amazing..lock screen notifications, ability to reply to anything from anywhere, priority hub etc etc
Could this be a game changer update for BlackBerry ?

I just wish AT&T would drop a 10.2 version already!!!! The wait is horrible.

I don't think it is a game changer, the core problems for BlackBerry are still somewhere else: Marketing, consumer reception, carrier and sales support, and so on. However the update sure is a really nice thing and surely improves the BB10 experience on many levels. But without getting the word out to the customers and people out there, they could deliver even more frequent updates and it still wouldn't really help spreading BB10.

It is not a game changer.
There is far too much for BlackBerry to do to reach the game let alone change it.
I'm still waiting for a way to switch from silent to vibrate without having to go into settings

Other platforms have the features so it cannot possibly be a game changer. It is a major improvement over 10.1

Dude other platforms don't even have this ease of changing the sound profile. On android you only have 3 notifications options while on BlackBerry you have 5, and most of the time you only need "normal" mode and "vibrate" that's it

What are you talking about. I know of one other platform that allowed me to switch between any profile I want with ease.
Since that platform was the one I used last I will judge BlackBerry 10 against it. So far BlackBerry 10 is wanting in many features

That platform was 7.1 by the way.
Also how do you know what I need from my phone. Mist of the time I need silent or vibrate actually hence why BlackBerry 10 inability to do this task efficiently is annoying.

And on android you can switch between the profiles without having to go through the settings. On BlackBerry that option is limited

No, not a game changer. It's too late for that.

What it might do, as with your cousin, is provide a reason to stay on BB10... But, I can't see new people buying due to 10.2

My favorite upgrade for 10.2 is being able to read and reply to a text message or BBM directly inside an app. As far as I know iphone or android do NOT have this feature.

And yes, this is a game changer feature. It is super efficient and apple or android only wish they could do this.

I have that specific one, it's not a game changer. It is a nice step forward though.

While I didn't get much in improvements it was nice to see that they were listening and taking into account seriously what people are telling them for once.

About time for survival and definitely not a game changer. Now that I can load the popular Android apps with ease anse working ok, why would I move away from BB. However for it to survive and compete , I hope they know what to do and BB better get this official version out ASAP

Quick reply to iMessage is something iPhone users have been clamoring for. Apple incorporated it into the latest version of OS X, so maybe we'll see it in iOS 8. But for now, yeah, the iphone can't do that.

You really think people are going to dump iOS and Android just for quick reply? If so I think you're overestimating the importance of that feature. Sure, we'd love to have it, but it's not really that big a deal.
