Now that company is off to a 'new' start, the #1 task on their to-do list should be to release 10.2 OTA for all BB10 devices in United States. Seriously, having 10.2 should be the priority. Force those monstrous carriers to release the update asap for USA. It is just waiting to be released. Waiting til end of December or early January would be a mistake. I don't care for alternative update methods. Only a tiny fraction of BB10 devices are updated that way. Get on it Blackberry.

Surely you can't be placing so much name on BlackBerry here. I mean the fact that it has rolled out in most countries, tells us that BlackBerry have made it available to the carriers.
As customers of the carriers you should also be complaining directly to the carriers.
Writing in their respective FB pages often draws attention.
As the customers you guys should also be nagging and ******** and begging them to release your update.
Its not like they have could have a reasonable excuse for holding back. The users voices really can make a difference here.
And whoever doesn't believe, just remember what happened with Rogers and the Z30

I think BB should be the one to persuade the carriers to release them. They should have more say in this instead of going along with time schedules of the carriers.

I don't think BlackBerry has sold enough BB10 devices in the US to be able to exert pressure or influence over the carriers. They frankly don't care about BlackBerry.

They'd likely respond to public pressure from Facebook posts & Twets.

10.2 is good as far as most builds go, but some have bugs. Just pushing it out to get it out could backfire.

If 10.2.1 is what we think it is, should BlackBerry just wait for that?

It still rests on the carriers to release it.... personally I think they should stop selling through carriers and offer better online shopping services. But they still might not let BlackBerry do something better for their costumers since that would only help BlackBerry. Can't have that right ?

It's makes a big difference. I unlocked my phone and got a Bell micro sim off Ebay to update my AT&T Q10. Well worth the $$ to be able to update, 10.2 brought back a lot of features I missed from my 9900 plus improvements.

Maybe we should all start a petition.
Save yourself the time and save us the beating of this poor dead horse yet again by loading the OS version of your choice either through Sachesi or load a leak; please...

    I see I'm too late...

Forget 10.2 it's too late for that.
US carriers should just jump straight to 10.2.1 which is expected to be released world wide (except the US) in a few weeks.

Wouldn't it be kind of cool if "leaks" were BlackBerry's way of bypassing carrier reluctance in releasing os updates and all these people were holding back for no reason at all.

If I ever found out this to be true I would so laugh my **** off.
