Poynt works well on OS7. However, it some what not working on OS10. Especially, 10.2. It hangs every time try to put a new location. Any similar app I can use that including, phone book for people and business, movie restaurant, gas buddy, events, etc all in one type of app and free of course. Thx.

I use Foursquare and BBMaps.

Foursquare is one of my few and favorite apps. It does a great job with places,movies, and It will find nearby gas stations. Also has one click options for calling, navigating, and sharing. I use it multiple times a day.

I've been using "BeMaps Pro" on my Z10... it accesses google maps and does a pretty good job of finding mostly everything in the vicinity of my location. When it finds the place/shop/POI/thing that I was searching for, BeMaps gives 3 choices: directions there, phone them or open their webpage (assuming the search result has all 3 of those tidbits of info).

For turn-by-turn voice guidance, it hands over the result to BB Maps which does an awesome job of navigating.

All in all, a purty good replacement for Poynt. Poynt was very good on the old BBOS. But I haven't tried it on BB10.

I use Poynt mostly for reverse phone number lookup. Is there another app that will do the same thing?

I guess I am stay for Poynt for a while. The mayor scared me. ;-)
Just hope the app got upgrade for bb10. It was truly wonderful.
