    Just need more banks on board.... only one kind of kills this unfortunately. Promising, but a dead end for a lot of people.

    Launch is one card with more confirmed coming. I'm assuming this is why most banks didn't do their own app like Scotia bank, they are (hopefully) all going to support the single point solution provided by rogers.

    Did it ever start working for you? I called Rogers about it yesterday and they said 10-12 hours. I told him they might want to change the 5-10 minutes line in the app.

    I got my wallet registered eventually - had to call Rogers to have them delete my wallet, which took a couple days, but then I could redo the initial setup process. Now I'm at the point of being able to add cards.

    I'm told the Mastercard payments won't be going live until the 20th of this month, but gift cards apparently work already.

    The only thing I see people balking at is the fee schedule for the MC - $2.50 a month, plus $2.50 each time you add funds to the card. Plus, the card issuer also takes a cut from the merchant on each transaction - these people are making a lot of money...but it's a completely voluntary service for consumers and businesses, so I can't complain. Much.

    I guess it is sim card based secure element, which means it should support other NFC phone pretty easily?

    keep in mind you need an NFC SIM card ... not sure if that's what's holding things up for you.
