Is there a rroyy-esque version of this yet? i'd love to use it like I did on my 9900.

I think rroyy has this for you. Check out his site.

Latest version I saw was 7.1.
    Am I missing something?

rroyy.com - find the version of Bridge that matches the OS on YOUR PHONE. If Bridge is already on the phone, delete/UNinstall, reboot, download rroyy version.

I've checked rroyy's site and it appears his AT&T Bridge work around is only available up to OS 7.1. I'm on AT&T and read here on CB that if you delete the Bridge app, remove your SIM card then reinstall the app over Wi-Fi and then reinstall SIM card. I've done this and I am able to Bridge my Q10 to my PlayBook no problem.

Did it work? One of the reasons I have held off on upgrading my 9900 to the Q10 on AT&T is the fear of losing my bridge to my PlayBook.

I'm actually waiting for someone to confirm this. I'll message you when they get back to me.

    Stop, drop, and roll.

I tried this, but when I restarted the phone after removing the SIM, Bridge was still there. Deleted it again and followed the rest of the steps. Turned off WiFi on the Playbook and was able to connect to YouTube! Awesome! Now I just have to get to the Service Center and get a replacement Q10 that does not have a super-sensitive keyboard and everything would be perfect!

You don't actually have to pull the SIM. You can just turn off the radio for the network, turn on WIFI and then download it from App World. As long as you don't upgrade it after you connect back to the network you'll be fine. But OS10.x only has a small portion of the options we had back in 7.1. At least we still have texting from the Playbook.
