You might need to replace the damaged part and I don't know if that is just the cover or the entire camera assembly. I am not sure of that product but doubt that a polish can really fix a scratch on a camera lens cover. I would think that while a polish could fix a blemish so that it is "invisible" on a watch face or even an lcd screen, a camera lens needs to be perfectly clear. But I really don't know. Good luck

I'm scared that the entire camera assmbly have to be replaced.
Actually I can remove the cover lens and when I remove it pics are cristal clear but there is risk to scratch the actual lens of the camera w/o it so I'm looking for a new cover lens.
I will try also DISPLEX and will post the result here.

As this guy from aaspot said http://aaspot.net/forum/showthread.p...e-yar%C4%B1yor DISPLEX worked for me, the scratch is now barely noticable.

I have the same problem. I ordered a replacement midframe on ebay which should be the piece with the lens cover. It was $6 so figured Im going to try and repair this myself. Took me a few minutes to realize that each z10 version has a slightly different midframe, needed to find the one for the stl-100-4

As I know it, the 3G models take one frame and the 4G models take another.

What size torx bit did you have to use?

This is a $12.00 part. It can be purchased at any repair center where they offer to repair the device.

Ask for a replacement motherboard cover.

The lens cover is built into it.
