I had the same problem and I deleted the phone from my car and paired it again. It links up every time now. However, occasionally the car will place the call, the car will drop the call but the call is still active on the phone. NO idea what is happening.
I upgraded my Rogers Bold to .162. After the update I found that voice dial was almost unusable when using Bluetooth. My Bluetooth headsets will connect; however, the voice recognition is almost unusable. Voice dial works fine on the Bold with no Bluetooth headset. Under the original Bold OS I found the voice recognition to be the best of any phone I have used. I wonder what has happened. The Bluetooth headset will also not initiate voice dial as good as it once did with the old OS.
I too had similar issues after .162 upgrade. Bluetooth connection drops on headset after voice dial but call is still active. I also lost all the default ringtones, sounds, pics that come preloaded. I upgraded to .168 and bluetooth is much better now.
I re-paired the two Bluetooth devices with no change. I also did a battery pull. Voice recognition is useless only when using Bluetooth. I only see a few comments about Bluetooth not working well with the .162 upgrade.
Is it possible that a portion of the upgrade didn't work for me?
Would it help to reload the Rogers .162 OS?
I used to have problems with my bluetooth not pairing with my car sometimes, turns out it was a defective BOLD. I excanged it and my bluetooth has worked fine since. On every OS I've installed and I've had a bold since it first hit the market.

I have had problems with my bold and car bluetooth ever since the update. They replaced my device but still same issue. pairing works , you can make calls but all of a sudden every 10 minutes the connection is lost . car screen asks do you want to connect.
After various teck support calls, found out that as I had telenav gps software on my device, this may have been causing the problem.Rogers says Telenav does not support Bold. Telenav says they do suppoirt bold.
Anyway, I have taken telenav off ( a shame as I really liked it ) and bluetooth and BB Bold seem to be working.
However still not clear if it is a rogers update problem or what...
That is exactly the problem i have and I don't have telenav. I upgrade to .168 and still have the problem, thinking of going to .190 since i see it's out and looks stable
I upgraded from 162 to 185 and I haven't dropped a call since the upgrade Friday. Hopefully, my problem is solved. I have read a number of posts which suggest that 190 may not be any better and may be worse than 185. I am going to stay on 185 for the present.
