I have a blackberry z10 and galaxy s4, I miss the keyboard experience, and am thinking of replacing my z10 for a q5, does the q5 lag or its snappy Like the z10, I don't care about camera I have s4.

I can say for sure it is a great phone. I have a white Z10, black Z10 and a black Q5. They are all very responsive, efficient, fast and make sense.

The security is bar none. Just simply put....an excellent choice.

I have a q5. only grip i have is the screen size and the backing. its all smooth. i find it slips out of my hand lots. never dropped it yet. i would recommend getting a case that has some grip to it. other than that, solid phone.

Go for q10. Keyboard is much better imo compare to q5. Many people like the q5 keyboard
But I suggest you try them both out then decide. Q5s camera is very ordinary though. That is another reason I went with q10.

Hi Patrick, yes I agree Q5 back is very slippery and nearly dropped mine, bought Blackberry soft shell, its close fitting and compact and gives a good grip, not expensive and came in black/ white and red, very useful if you like to use phone without cases, otherwise Q5 is excellent,

I changed from my Z10 to a Q5 about 2 weeks ago and I'm very happy with my Q5!

To be honest, I sometimes miss the Z's keyboard but coming back to a BlackBerry QWERTY reminded me just how great it is!

At first I thought I noticed some lag on the Q5 but now that I've been using the phone a while I think I must have been imaging the lag.

The battery life I get on my Q5 is noticeably better than my Z10! I get through a day very easily now, often with close to 50% battery life left. That never was the case with my Z10.

As for the slippery back on the Q5, I use a CAPDASE cover that came with a screen guard, it is fantastic ito feel and makes the Q5 a perfect one handed device for me? I can easily single thumb type and reach any part of the screen on the Q5 without adjusting my grip on the phone. That is really cool and something I could never do on my Z10.

I just went from a OS 7 phone to the Q5, wow what an step up. Got the genuine flip case which is great. The keyboard is very nice. Performance is top notch, no lag that I've noticed. Get it!

Definitely a good fon. But camera is too soft for my taste. That's why I went for q10.

Yes it's worth the upgrade to a Q10 better keyboard, more storage space,nfc ,removable battery,wifi direct and mira cast.

Same here. I'm considering trying out a Q5 once the price drops. Hopefully I can get a cheap Rogers Q5 before Christmas.

Hmmm interesting, might consider retiring my Z10 for a Q5 as a daily work horse as well.... I agree, BlackBerry if marketed well might be able to use the Q5 to get back market share...
