Hi, any one have working MS Lync 2010 bar file? I am using 10.2.0.424 and side loaded one from bb10bars.net. But it is not working.

I've tried 2 different versions or Lync 2010 bars, and also tried to roll back the 810 runtime version but no luck yet.
On the latest version of the bar I found Lync starts but just hangs on the main screen and eventually says its not responding and asks if I want to close it.
I've attached the 2 files I have.
Let me know if you have any luck

I have yet to find a working Lync 2010 sideload that works properly.

I'm using 4.0.6509.3001 with no problems. (10.2.0.1791 with the unlocked runtime from 10.2.1.575 (I think)).

Can't get it work on BlackBerry even if an invite to a Lync Meeting is sent out and the user presses the Lync it still won't load.

I am using 10.2.0.424 and downloaded the Lync 2010 bar using Sideloading tool. When I try sideloading the logs show below at the bottom


Removing login cookie
- No cookie found.
Installing apps
- Installing com.microsoft.office.lync.bar
- (Debug) Initialized http client
- (Debug) Attempting to authorize with password
- (Debug) Logging in
- (Debug) Parsing response
- (Debug) Reading status
- (Debug) Status: Challenge

After this I can see the Lync icon in my Blackberry but it does not work. It hangs on opening.

I have used both Lync 2010 and 2013 on 10.2.1 with no real issues. Video calls don't work though. Also just because you have lync at work on your pc doesn't mean you are authorized to use it mobile or off internal network, your IT can restrict that if they want. Mine does, I had to get moved to a special group.

Don't remember if I converted my self on 2010, but 2013 didn't work at all prior to 10.2.1. In 10.2.1.1055+ you can direct install the apk.

I can post the apk if you want, but I think they are already in the apk forum.

That is the latest, and the Version I used. The only gripe I had was that you get the standard keyboard, no flicking.

I'm not sure which build that was, but when I was on 10.2.0.17xx it worked fine. But I had debug token and converted the apk that way. I know some bars I downloaded that were converted not using a debug token didn't work well or at all. Sorry I can't help more.

I tried so many bar files but ran into some problem or the other. With 10.2.1 its smooth ...
