First of all I have the say the z30 is nothing short of phenomenal. The only problem I have with mine is the GPS. Some times it can't find my exact location or not at all. When it does work it's very spotty and it usually says I'm about 500m from where I really am. Just wondering if this could be my z30 causing the problem or is it 10.2. I never had any issues like this on my z10 on 10.1

Its not a 10.2 issue but I would hope its not a general z30 issue either

I installed CascaRun and have used it twice. By default the app tells you (by voice) when the GPS is lost and found. During a walk it lost GPS 3 times for less than 4 seconds.

The GPS tracking of the walk routes was extremely accurate. That doesn't mean you aren't having problems with a particular device just as mine appears to be working as designed.

Yup same issue here! Gps cutting out a lot, get the red round symbol in maps to say can't find Gps. Very annoying actually as my girlfriend was sitting next to me in the car with here busted up old iPhone 4 and we had to use that.

Also noted some other issues but will start a new thread.

Been using the Z30 and 10.2 for nearly a month. The GPS seems to be working fine for me. Could it be carrier/radio for you?

I noticed that my location was off by 500 m or so too when I first used the GPS. I got out of the app and retried few hours later and it was set to my location almost perfectly. Give it some time and it should mark your location accurately but not 100% precise. All GPS devices are going to have a standard error of at least 5-10 m caused by many variables (cloudy days, signal bouncing off buildings or obstacles, poor triangulation, etc.)

No issues myself, but man the GPS app is great. I was so surprised at the quality of it compared to the old BB OS's

    Update :
Just got off the phone with someone else at BlackBerry and she was much more knowledgeable. After many logs sent, restarts, and a software reload. The problem still isn't fully fixed. It can find my location now but it can't hold on to it.
