    Just got my Z30. And it looks like it will only charge when it's turned off.


    Any ideas?

    Are you using the supplied charger with the device?

    Got mine yesterday and happily charges off the supplied charger and a random Motorola car charger I have.

    Don't take this as gospel, but going by the different charger style on the Z30, I believe it requires a high amp charger.

    Yup supplied charger or my z10 charger.

    I just found that if I turn the z30 on well it's charging it charges normally ( lightning bolt).
    This is a weird one. I bought it on eBay so not sure if there is a way I can do a warranty exchange.

    I'm thinking of installing a leaked OS to see if that helps.
