They speak of antenna improvements, if you went from a Z10 to Z30 can you let me know if you have indeed noticed a difference.

I believe there is a fair bit, but you need to get the right model for your carrier.

I can say that there's improvement, especially when 3G signal is gone and E appears. With my Z10, I could feel some performance issues or sudden heating when the phone was trying to catch 3G (I knew because whenever I noticed the heating or lagging I could see the signal going from E to 3G or v.v.)

With Z30 I have never seen that, it seems to get 3G signal from parts of my workplace, or even when it doesn't, there'S no lag or heat.

That is good to hear. It seems like my Z10 sees a performance hit when not in 4G. It will text and call in 3G but that's about it. Thanks for the feedback.

It's not just an improvement in reception, the new antenna drains less battery in low reception areas.

So i wouldn`t necessarily have more reception bars than the z10 in the same area and with the same carrier ? Because thats what i noticed when i was out in the woods with some people. One Z10, two Androids and my Z30. We basicly had the same reception.

Personally huge improvement on cellular network. I live in a "bunker", very low signal area. On Z10 I had to go either outside or upstairs by a Window to make a phone call. Z30 I can now talk from anywhere in my house. Same sim card being used.

That is encouraging for sure. My girl is going to get the Z30 when Verizon releases it. If there is a tremendous reception improvement over my Z10, it may cause me to change. Not sure I want the size of the Z30 however.

Thanks for your feedback. We'll see.
