    Today, Rogers Retail stores received the following;

"As of October 29th, BlackBerry Z30 devices will be available for shipping to customers who placed orders through the Rogers Reservation System and Rogers.com

The device is available for $179.99 on select two-year agreements.

As a reminder, this device is only available to customers reserving through the Rogers Reservation System and ordering through Rogers.com The device will NOT be available for sale in retail locations."

Don't forget to ask for a price match!

Rogers will begin processing and shipping orders today, October 29th.

Currently, the BlackBerry Z30 is on back order. A Shipment is expected by Friday, November 1st, to their shipment site. With a reservation, Rogers generally states that you can expect your device within 15 days of the official launch date (October 29). However direct orders have no guarantees.

Lol that's such a spin on "Why isn't the device available in-store?" To that answer, they should've added "because going into a store and walking out with a purchase sooo does not beat ordering online and waiting for your phone to arrive by mail."

LOL, I just talked to a rep about 3 hours ago only to be told that they have no word yet, on the release date or pricing. I was about to make the switch to Bell, but now I'm intrigued. Dammit, why is decision making so difficult.

I would recommend speaking with a Manager. They tend to be the only ones with information.

Otherwise, head to Rogers.com/reservation to make a Z30 device reservation. To my best knowledge, only business account clients are able to make direct orders - as per stated in the original press release when the decided to carry the Z30.

I haven't been able to check my personal reservation since day 1.

    Are you looking on Rogers.com/myrogers?

I am still #9 on the list and it says Open. I went to the location I plan to pick it up, yesterday, and they could only see that there was a device in the system - but no pricing or delivery.

My reservation status has also been updated to 'in progress'. Looks like they are going to ship it to me without telling me what the price is.

I can no long change or cancel and it looks like the next communication will be with the shipment details.

As stated above, the cost will be $179.99 on a new two year activation. If you are doing a hardware upgrade, it will be $179.99 plus the price of the early upgrade fee as well as a $50 mail in rebate. So in sense, you will pay roughly $229.99 plus the upgrade fee. This cost can be found by calling Rogers at 1888Rogers1 (1-888-7643-771) and asking for the fee for upgrading based on your remaining term.

For anyone interested, they threw up the Z30 page on the website now -
    http://www.rogers.com/web/link/wirel...+11+4294967111

If link is broken... just go to Rogers.com, phones and devices, BlackBerry and you will see it there. 179.99 on 2 year plans, $599.99 outright. In line with the others.

OK - Mine shows as Shipped. Probably pick it up Thursday in store. They price matched TELUS ($599 for off contract).

When someone gets their Rogers Z30, would you mind posting which model you got, just to confirm that it is the STA100-5? Thanks.

It seems to be the -5. And -5 is the better one to have on Rogers, as it has both the 2600 and 1700 LTE bands that Rogers uses. The -2 is missing the 1700 band. Both models are equally well suited for the 3G/HSPA+ networks.
