The update is great in theory, but I'm really getting sick of swimming or floating randomly in the middle of BBM conversations from two months ago, and not automatically scrolling to where I actually am...

Also tired of text message screen coming up as blank even though there are loads of past messages, and I'm typing...

I really hope this gets sorted soon. BBM messages aren't going through reliably either...isn't that the whole point of BBM???

Slowly loading text screens I haven't had since getting 10.2. Bbm conversations I only see it not up to date when you do a lot of talking in the hub and then go into bbm or vice versa but they always scroll to the bottom properly. The only bug I have found is when you press on a instant notification to go to the conversation it doesn't select the text box, even though the cursor is blinking in there.
Overall very happy with 10.2 40 hours uptime 30% battery remaining and very smooth.

Is anyone else getting three software 'updates' a day for the same update you've already got?

This happened to me a lot with 10.0.9... I was checking a lot for 10.1 but it constantly gave me 10.0.9 while it was already installed... It stopped when I finally got 10.1..

I think it has to do with an improper connection to the Update Server... It doesn't recognise your version as the latest update... What version are you running at the moment..?

    From the Z...

This is the same thing they keep asking me to update to over and over again

I've done it a few times thinking perhaps it didn't download properly somehow, but it's still happening

    Two things

    1. Hard reset, hold the up down volume buttons simultaneously until the device re boots.

    2. Install BBM Channels via Beta Zone

What if someone doesn't want channels? Then you're stuck with bugs?

I did the update OTA. This caused my device to freeze up and randomly re boot. I ended up having to use the BlackBerry software on my computer and created a back up file and re installed the update via my computer. Once it installed I re installed my back up file and have not had any issues since. When creating the backup file you may want to choose custom that way your settings and apps are not wiped so when you reload your backup file everything stays the same. Hope this helps!!

I'm going to try this. I did over the air and am having loads of issues and random reboots

Think best to backup, reset and reload software and then restore

After doing the hard reset (hold the up down volume buttons simultaneously until the device reboots), all my contacts are gone. So I have to wipe the device again and re-install. Have you experience that?

Yes, hub is loaded. Once all the contacts are gone, I can't add contacts anymore even manually. I'm using IntouchApp for my contacts.

Secure wipe your device and run it without reinstalling backup for a while to confirm that your backup isn't doing something funky to it.
