    I side-loaded the Netflix app on my new Z30, just like I've always done on my Z10...but I was surprised to find that it won't play the videos! The app loads fine, it starts up okay and shows me the main screen...but when I select a video it rotates and starts to play the audio - but there is no video! It also appears to be zoomed in (based on the bar at the bottom of the screen) - the screen remains black while the audio plays.

    I'm trying to figure out why the z30 is so different from the z10 in this respect...I've tried loading a couple of .BAR files from different sources but get the same result.

    Has anyone else tried it yet?

    Open Netflix, swipe down from the top of screen and change the Player type to Software.

    Thanks! I was looking for settings while playing a video and couldn't find anything. For others' sake...from the main screen (where the list of movies can be selected), swipe down from the top and select "Player Type" and change it to "Software"

    Easy.

    But I think you must use the browser, not the CB10 app. Login, find the thread, tap "edit post" under your first post to that thread, then tap " go advanced" and the thread title can be edited there.

    I sideloaded the Netflix app and I get the same black screen, but I try to swipe down from the top to get to the settings and nothing happens, all I get is a blue glow from the top like there is nothing there. Any thoughts or should I try a different bar or ver?

    I've been trying to side load with sachesi and ddpb but I keep getting entry error 500.

    Thoughts?

    Netflix works fine if you change the player type. I use it a lot now, borrowed my friends account. Netflix isn't bad, if I'm bored.
