Hi everyone,

I just upgraded to 10.2 and had to re-establish my bluetooth connection to the car. However, I noticed something different when they were connected, but I'm not sure what it does. Do I need a special app in order to take advantage of these new features?

In going through the menu options on the paired device, for the MB bluetooth it has:
1) Device details
2) Connect
3) Write to tag (no idea)
4) Unset my car (no idea - sounds dangerous)

Does anyone have any idea about what I can do with my connected phone now?

this is new in 10.2.. it doesn't add any features to your car or anything. i think it just knows that it's a car based on the name i'm guessing, and what features it has.

I just got this notification as well. I don't drive my Benz often. I like it. I think if you set it as your car it will give your phone priority. I like the notice on the home screen.

I wish it would do that for my Range Rover as I drive that everyday!!

It also locks the screen in 10 seconds with this auto pairing. I had it lock when I was using maps... so I unset my blue tooth as my auto to return it to the previous lockout behavior.

It works on my 2007 CLS 550. I've had people ask where I got a Mercedes Benz phone! Then I tell them it's "just my BlackBerry Z10" and they say "that's so cool!"... it knows it's in your CLS by itself? Of course I tell them the the car is also running QNX so it's natural they talk.

I'll try and take a screenshot later today. Although I still don't understand what those options do (i.e. the ones listed in my original post) and what purpose it serves.

I still only have one option on the lock screen and I believe it says "hands free calling". Am I able to get other options? I thought I saw someone else report "music streaming" and other options (I have to find that thread). If I can enable more of these features, that would be great. Anyone know anything about this?

Ah ok ... exactly ... this is what I'm missing. Why do I not have all those other options (e.g. media control, audio streaming, etc.)? The only option I have is "handsfree calling". Is that because I haven't opened up the options (which I need to know how)? Or is it because it is not supported?

Could be not supported. All my Acura has is Handsfree Calling so that's all it shows. If your car has more features with the Bluetooth connection, you should see what the car has access to.

I have problems with bluetooth in my mercedes c250 BJ 2011. It happened following predefined: After proper pairing everything works fine, but as soon as I try, for example, the connection cards received-is interrupted. What's more: the connection takes only a sesion, ie after one Bluetooth is turned off no longer works the automatishe pairing. It is necessary to make the procedur new with authorization, but before that in the car and the phone, the "old" saved connections must be deleted. I currently have software version 10.2.1.176 and operating system 10.2.1.1055.
Sa I've tried all m�glische tick in and out to switch ... Unfortunately, without result.

Hello, I try again and again in my mercedes w204 c250 Bluetooth in 2011 to bring in gear. Unfortunately, until now I have not geschaft. I currently have 10.2.1.537. As always produce connection is no problem. As soon as one is disconnected from equipment to Comand not found with z 10. Does anyone of you help?

When you turn device services on it asks for password. After that services are turned off again. Piece of **** 10.2.1. Update.

You know you are on leak right. Maybe it's a bug which will be fixed with next update

Do a master reset on your Mercedes radio/Comand system. Then reconnect your phone again having your phone find your MB radio.

This is the problem, there are several options available for Hands Free Calling as well as Media Streaming and it also depends on the generation of the built-in Comand Infotainment system

This happened to me as well on my 09 C63...it would only connect once and the next time I got in the car u would have to do the process all over again. what I did find is that when I connected, I checked all the connections in the car and they were ok, so I went into the blue tooth on my phone, tapped on the mercedes connection and for some reason the hands free calling on the phone was switched off. As soon as I switched it on, it connected with no problems every time I got in the car. I'm running 10.2.1 1925 with 1926 radio
