That's entirely an What's Up application issue. Perhaps in the future updates we will have instant reply also.

I'am able to answer directly on what's app toast notification. I'am using what's app Version 2.11. 66 .
Using software version 10.2.0.424, maybe you have to enable the function for what's app or search for a update.

As already alluded to in this thread, you need to upgrade to the latest version of our app that supports 10.2. It should be available as an upgrade in BB World shortly after you upgrade your phone to 10.2. The key is that the 4th part of the version number will be ".2" (instead of ".1" or ".0"). If it still doesn't work after that, a delete/reinstall should fix it.

And emoticons are shown as a square in the lock screen info...

While 10.2 supports far more emoji than 10.1, it still doesn't support the complete emoji set that our app provides. Therefore, we still strip them out when showing text that's made visible to the hub, lock screen, etc. If we didn't, then you'd see all sorts of strange missing characters in the middle of emoji-laden messages.
However, emoji don't currently work at all on the lock screen, or the "instant preview" (toast) notifications.

BlackBerry will hopefully fix both these issues this in a future version of the OS. As soon as they do, we'll be more than happy to enable system-wide support for messages sent through our app.

On ios whatsapp there are messages written in only one "box" in the chat when they are from the same sender:

On bbry whatsapp they are always separated:

Would like to have it as it is on ios cause it makes the chat clearer

My toast was working fine but now it isn't anymore. I'm on official 10.2 and also latest whatsapp. Done countless delete/re-install still to no avail. Any ideas?
