So my experience in the upgrade:

After installation and reboot, the reboot took a LONG time. I thought it was frozen. It was stuck on the 100% purple blackberry logo screen for like 20 minutes.

Then once it booted, the hub took forever to load. Everything was laggy and so slow. I go into system monitor and noticed tht the reason for the slowness is because the system was using 87% CPU (jumps between 60% to 105%). I check out the photo gallery and music and noticed that the BB was indexing. Why it has to re-index everything, I don't know - cant BB just the previous index?

The whole indexing thing took about an hour. Phone was running hot, but just let it sit there. Nothing else works while the phone is indexing - its slow. Don't bother opening android apps.

However, once the indexing was done - wow - everything was smooth. My sideloaded android apps worked perfectly - performance was 2-3 times better than before. The hub is great - they also fixed the user interface (small fixes here and there) and the phone is a pleasure to use. Skype works perfectly too! Much improved.

10.2 is a great update. GO FOR IT!

    over and out.

    Nice update!
Hope this will help other users whose phones are running hot after installation of 10.2

Similar experience here too. Give it a few hours to settle down.

It will truly settle after 48 hours with one or two power cycle reboots

Yeah my experience too, installed my first leak so I was a bit nervous, but following the instructions on their wiki page made it so much easier. The key is not to get impatient when wiping the device or running the autoloader, don't want to mess it up. I just started running it and watched some movies. On 10.2.1.575 and I love it! Takes a bit to settle down but then it works great

What everyone above me said. A couple of reboots help the process but you can definitely see the differences.

Priority hub is awesome as well as the home screen notifications. The copy and paste takes getting used to but is much easier than before.

Overall 2 thumbs up for 10.2.

I love it. Didn't have to wait that long for it to settle though. Maybe because I recently cleared my hub?

I'm really happy with BlackBerry right now.

I like the improvements but my typing seems to have degraded. Seemingly hitting wrong keys. Anyone else have same experience?

Once settled this release is absolute love. I was on an older 10.2 leak but this is fantastic.

The keyboard response is insanely more accurate and navigating messages in the Hub is snappy as when I first got the phone (I've kept all my messages since March heh).

Love watching this platform's continuing maturation!
