Hi,

I have just installed the 10.2 update!! Everything worked fine apart from now I am unable open any of my side loaded apps.

If anyone knows how to rectify this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

the updated installed the new jelly bean runtime.. try holding down the volume up and volume down keys together for 30 seconds until the phone reboots, then let it settle for about 15 minutes, after which try your sideloads again. It should be fine.

Did you uninstall them and then install them again? did you use the unlocked runtime previously?

Thanks, i will try the reboot and see if that works. I haven't had any leaks installed before so I don't think that's the issue. Will let you know if it works.

Sideloaded apps take about 3 full minutes to load after updating your OS.
I ran into that the other day. I opened one and had to wait what seemed like forever for it to open.

Reboot didn't work. Will try uninstalling. And Re installing. The apps begin to loaf and then they just close automatically.

Tried the uninstall and that didn't work either. I have also noticed that I can't download anything from Blackberry world. It keeps saying network error. Anymore ideas??

You may need to install the unlocked runtime that is available in the Leaked OS thread. Then load your apps. See if that will help.

I am having the same issue, no android app will load, legit or not. I have tried re-installing the app from the store, still no go

same here, no android apps work. the legitimate ones like ebay do and can download fine from app world. just tried the volume up and down method will report back.

Yikes. Some of my Side Loads work but some don't. Netflix does NOT work anymore. It was loaded from a 1.8b561 bar file. Can someone post a step by step on how to get Netflix back on to a Z10 running on O/S 10.2.0.424 ? Many virtual beers will be granted. I'm sure one of you talented crackberry techs will figure it out and I will patiently cross my fingers and wait for a post. Cheers.

Right just tested mine, none of my sideloads works including netflix and legit ebay. I have rebooted device, regenerated and reloaded debug token, renewed debug token, installed and uninstalled between reboots and tried without token as supposedly the 4.2 runtime doesn't need one. Still nothing. Any ideas? Anybody tried reloading device yet?

When the icon is clicked, it opens the black Blackberry splash screen and the blue bar goes between a third and half way along then it just terminates no warning. I am also not able to update DocsToGo, stating a network error but can update other apps fine, not sure if it is related. Don't want to but thinking a reload may be in order unless someone can shed some light on this.

Through BlackBerry Link using Reload Device on the Summary page. Do not however do a backup and then restore the Application Settings as this will carry over the problem with the apps. Start clean, fresh from new and see if it happens and report back, if I've not heard back in a few days I will give it a go.

I managed to get my Android apps working again. It was a tad long winded. But basically I uninstalled all of the side loads. Then I side loaded the latest unlocked android runtime, rebooted my phone then reinstalled the previous apps. It's all working great now

Which is the latest unlocked runtime? I've tried 3 of them. Which one worked for you?
