My buddy has a 4S running iOS 7 and his group notifications aren't working. When the app is completely closed they come in, but when he has the app running in the background he gets no notification and no red spark on the BBM icon. Anyone else having this issue or know how to solve it?

Yea, when the app is closed, he gets the notification. But when it is open and running in the background no notification. So whenever he has it running, he has no clue the group is talking.

He should enable the alerts/badges.
